Hammer To Nail described this film as "Cassevetes on Cocaine", which works to describe the photographic aesthetic as well.
We used traditional film emulation and grain to enhance the naturalistic, filmic look of the images, but also let things get saturated and intense when we wanted.
The Mend premiered at South By Southwest 2014.
